Free parking is ONLY available in lots 1A and 1B (see our Location map) across from Fribley) after 4:30 p.m. on Friday. If you arrive earlier than 4:30pm, you will have to pay for parking in the Veale Parking Tower (lot 53) at the posted rates. If you park at a location other than posted Lots 1A, 1B, or 53; we are not responsible for any parking tickets or loss of access to your vehicle. Some lots will be closing for maintenence and it is highly suggested that marathon attendees stick with the lots we suggest.

Adelbert Rd. bridge is STILL closed
Adelbert Rd. bridge was closed effective Jan. 3, 2005 to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. If you park in lot 44, you will need to walk down Murray Hill Rd. to either Cornell Rd. or Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to cross the train tracks and get to the main campus area and Strosacker. A pedestrian bridge may be operational by the time marathon occurs, but we are as yet unsure.

EARLY ARRIVALS
If you arrive Thursday or before 2pm on Friday for the Marathon, you will NOT be allowed to camp out in Strosacker Auditorium. Case Western Reserve has allocated the space of Amasa Stone Chapel to us for anyone who arrives early (including overnights.) The univeristy has informed us that this is the only space avaliable to us and that we must send early arrivals there.

Movies and times subject to change. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 20 at 6pm in the lobby of Strosacker Auditorium. No one under 18 admitted without parental supervision.

Admission Information
Pricing for this year's science fiction marathon will remain at $25 per person. However, we are now giving people the option of donating an extra $5 to the Christopher Reeve Foundation, bringing the total admission plus donations to $30. Donations can ONLY be made in the amount of $5, for bookkeeping purposes. These donations are in no way required from any of our patrons.

If you are unable to stay for the entire marathon, you may purchase tickets for movies individually. If you surrender a state or college ID to us, we will allow you to pay $3 per movie you wish to stay for. You are free to stay for more movies than you initially pay for, however you will be charged the balance before return of your ID. You may also simply purchase a wristband for the balance of the marathon upon your arrival if you do not wish to surrender an ID (maximum charge of $25.)

Special Disclaimer!
This year, we are fortunate enough that local filmmaker Frank Tarasco is making a documentary based on our very own science fiction marathon. If you attend our marathon this year, you are giving your permission for footage in which you may appear in the background to be used in the film.
